Guess what time it is, Boosters?
It’s time to make the cookies!
Yes, it’s time to fill the Christmas Cookie Tins for the team. We are asking that you make a minimum of 5 dozen cookies. You may make more, but no less than the 5 (five) dozen. When baking, please do not make anything that requires some refrigeration, as we do not have anywhere to store them. Also if nuts are contained in your cookies, please label it as we have a player with a nut allergy. If you aren’t a baker, but would like to contribute to the tins, you may bring wrapped treats. (For example, candy canes, popcorn balls, candy, cocoa packets, etc. As long as the treats are wrapped, anything will be fine.) Also, you may give a monetary donation, as there are supplies we need to purchase.
You can bring the cookies or treats to the Booster Club Meeting on December 8th, or drop them off at the Toyota Sportsplex on Coal Street on December 8th, 9th, or 10th. If you drop your donation off, just tell them it’s for the Booster Club Cookie Tins. Please be sure to put your name somewhere on your donations. If you need the containers back, I will get them back to you.
The team really appreciates the tins and looks forward to receiving them every Christmas. Your generosity has made this project a success every year, so let’s make 2014 another banner year. If you have any questions, see me at the games or e-mail me. I am at the Booster table before all home games or I sit up in Section 114, Row S, right at the top.
Thanks in advance!!! Let’s Go Pens!!!!! -Anne Flasser
